A intenção do primeiro volume é de mostrar o quanto a voz do Mr. Rocksteady influênciou artistas como Gregory Isaacs, Dennis Brown, Errol Dunkley, Johnny Clarke, Winston Francis, Heptones, Delroy Wilson, Ken Booth, Jacob Miller, entre outros, que nessa coletânea interpretam alguns dos sons imortalizados por Alton Ellis.Já no segundo álbum, fica claro a capacidade de improvisação e a criatividade dos jamaicanos em criar versões em Dub, toasters e instrumentais como os belíssimos teclados de Brentford Road All Stars com "Can I Change My Mind" e o saxofone de Carl Bryan na "Sunday Version".Os Deejay com suas versões Scorchers também não poderiam ficar de fora.
